Lost Cemeteries
This page contains cemeteries that no longer exist. These internments were moved, destroyed, or markers (and history) were lost to time and development.
Future research will focus on parsing disinterment records which may exist with the City Clerk.
Manor Glenn Court - Visited this location in 2023, there were no memorials or obvious signs of graves. The fence line seems to respect the burial location. You can access this location via the alley between buildings. Located via plat in Mapbook 105 page 53.
Riveranne Court - Visited this location in 2023, the GPS coordinates led me to shrubbery in the parking lot with no obvious signs of graves. Located via plat in Mapbook 13 page 65.
Bayne Drive - Visited in 2023 with no obvious signs of graves in this open area between Rescue Station 8 and Fire Station 8. Located via plat in Mapbook 65 page 7.

Benedict Court - Visited in 2023 with no signs of graves in the area. Later plats appear to show the burial ground as being under where the driveway and house now sit. Located via plat in Mapbook 123 page 50, Mapbook 131 page 52 and Mapbook 137 page 2.
Great Neck Village Shopping Center - Visited twice in 2023. The plat puts this behind the shopping center. There are some very old trees that may mark the corners of the cemetery however the area is coated with a very thick blanket of english ivy which makes it impossible to see the ground. I probed the ground in a grid pattern but was not able to find any stones. Located via plat in Mapbook 138 page 7 and Mapbook 152 page 25.
Five Forks Rd - Visited in 2023, but no depressions or markers were visible. Located via plat in Mapbook 52 page 52, Mapbook 54 page 18, and Mapbook 60 page 38.
